Hems & Brims is a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives that empowers Black creatives to excel in the fashion industry through mentorship, resources, and professional and educational opportunities. By hosting a workshop, leading a guest speaker session, or co-leading a networking mixer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the next generation of Black fashion creatives.

These virtual events also serve as fundraising opportunities to help sustain and grow our work. Participants will be asked to donate $25 to support Hems & Brims.

All proceeds help sustain our programming and move us toward a more equitable future for Black talent in fashion.
